What is a Parent Carer Forum?
A Parent Carer Forum is a group of parent carers and other family carers of children and young people with additional needs and/or disabilities.
Our aim is to work to ensure the services in the Dudley Local Aurthority area meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities and their families.
We are grant funded by the government (via the charity Contact) to gather the views of local families then working in partnership with local authorities, education settings, health providers and other providers to highlight where local services, processes and commissioners are working well, or challenge when changes or improvements need to be made.
All Dudley residents who are … (from sign up form) are eligible for FREE membership of Dudley Parent Carer Forum and you do not need to have any formal diagnosis to be a member of the forum.
